HOW ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WORKS: -

To get the fair understanding of the working of Artificial Intelligence, one needs to go for the deeper understanding of diverse sub-domains of Artificial Intelligence and must go through the application of these zones in various areas of the enterprise.

• Machine Learning: ML provides the statistical tools to explore and analyze the data.

It involves recognizing designs, analyzing the old details to deduce the meaning of these data points in order to arrive at a potential resolution without the actual involvement of human experience.

• Deep Learning: Deep Learning is a subset of machine learning. It encourages a machine to deal with inputs across layers enabling classification, deduction also the prediction of results.

• Neural Networks: Neural Networks function on the identical concepts as Human Neural cells. They are a sequence of parametrization which apprehends the association between several underlying variables and processes the data in so much alike way as that of the human brain.

• Natural Language Processing: NLP is a science of studying, tolerating, a language by a device. What the user intends to communicate, the machine firstly comprehends it and then responds to it accordingly.

• Computer Vision: Computer vision works on the principle of understanding an image by breaking down an image and studying different parts of the objects. This enables the machine to classify and learn from a set of images, to make optimum output decisions depending upon the preceding observations.

• Cognitive Computing: Cognitive computing algorithms attempt to imitate a human brain by scrutinizing content/articles/pictures/items in an indistinguishable way to that of a human and tries to give the yearning output.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR DISABLED PEOPLE:

Out of the 7 billion population more than 1 billion have disability in some or the other form. This accounts almost 15% of the world’s population. Some common disabilities Prevailed around are Vision defects, auditory Impairments, Mental illness, cognitive errors , Speech and language disability, Physical disability. AI profoundly impact disabled people and their everyday lives.

A human being with a disability now can easily grasp the world around him. with the help of AI.

• Image recognition for visually challenged,

• Facial recognition for humans with visual damage,

• Lip-read identification for people with hearing damage,

Brief text for people with psychological damage,

• Actual time captioning or rephrasing for people with hearing damage or even humans who don’t speak the language. Artificial Intelligence’s role for disabled individuals:

• It can be applied to a variety of disability profiles. Online administrative assistant, for an illustration, Amazon Alexa, people having inflexibility in mobilization can easily control everything at home using only their voice.

• Central objective of this piece of writing is to explore the connection between artificial intelligence and disability, and to the ethical dilemmas that arise.

• We will use narrative accounts, such as diaries, to analyze how AI is used in our daily lives, and how it brings promise, support, and frustrations.

• We will conclude by drawing conclusions as to how developers can better approach the creation of AI-based software and technology.

• Intelligent machines are machines that can do cognitive tasks normally carried out by humans.

• These machines are called artificial intelligence (AI). Various technology solutions are available, from chess to solving equations, that mimic human actions and use logic.

• AI includes machine learning: algorithms can learn and improve when they are exposed to more data in order to anticipate consumer’s needs.

AI-POWERED APPLICATIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT DISABILITIES: -

• For people having vision defects, Voiceover; a screen reader is installed in iPhones, Talkback: similar to Voice Over for Android smartphones, Siri: iPhones virtual assistant., Cortana: a virtual assistant, Google Assistant: an app mobilized by spoken commands.

• For people with auditory defects: online assistants like Siri and Google Assistant, Ava: an instant transcription app, RogerVoice: a French instant transcription app

• For people with physical disabilities: Virtual assistants like Siri, Google Assistant and Google Voice Access, IFTTT: an app that connects other apps

• For moving around: Google Maps, Moovit, Wheelmap, Soundscape, Evelity AI as a tool for people with disabilities.

AI AS A TOOL FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES:

· Using AI-powered self-driving vehicles will allow housebound individuals with disabilities to move around with incredible ease.

· My phone finally lets me know that it is not the box I need after about six attempts. Choosing another packet is easier. My partner offers to help after three attempts.

· By owing driverless cars People with special abilities could depart from their houses to wander and navigate around their groups and alike individuals, interact with people, and can even search jobs by using driverless cars.

· In the future, autonomous vehicles will be able to facilitate independent mobility and increase accessibility according to each individual’s ability and need.

· My phone lets me know which street we’ve arrived at most of the time, but sometimes it happens after we’ve already crossed over and started leaving that street.

· In the future, Artificial Intelligence could give rise to precocious and ingenious solutions that address the most complex challenges disabled people face.

· This could enable them to have more inclusion in society. My main use of this app is for reassurance on routes I am already familiar with.

· People with disabilities can benefit greatly from solutions powered by artificial intelligence, which will support them in their daily lives and give them the opportunity to gain new skills.

· With the help of AI technology, disabled people have greater opportunities to access the world, be included in society, and live an independent life; otherwise, they would struggle. It can be difficult to use the app in less-known areas because it can be slow to detect where I am standing, resulting in missing audio prompts and issuing turns.

As a result of the rain, we have decided to take the bus home. In addition to letting me know where the bus stop is, the GPS app also tells me where we are. People with disabilities can benefit from this pioneering navigation app. This is an example of how artificial intelligence can generally intensify approachability and upgrade the standard of the lives of the people specifically. If I know ahead of time when I will be at my stop, I won’t have to rely on the driver being able to tell me. The bus movements are not necessary to determine where we are, either. Whenever they need to use a car, they do not have to ask a relative or make an arrangement with a company. Self-driving cars use detectors, cameras, scanning systems, tracking systems, and AI, to get to their destinations.

These algorithms assemble the obligatory information and data in regard to their nearby areas, namely traffic signals, brake, prams, etc. Numerous enterprises are developing or testing self-driving cars in the automobile industry by including Open Street Maps and Google Street View. I combine the app with the latter method. In addition, there may be a slight lag in the app’s information. So I use the app to confirm where we are and make sure I know where we are on the route.

There are countless ways in which AI technologies can be used to improve the lives of disabled people. From the literature, as well as from our own experience, we can conclude that it is imperative to involve people with disabilities in the design of AI software. These programs are designed to support the needs of people with disabilities. Whether they are startups or large corporations like Google or Microsoft, there are many more solutions available and being developed. With AI’s continuing development, it will be possible to develop more progressive and breaking new ground solutions to some of the most complicated issues faced by disabled people. As a result, disabled people could be better included in society. With an inclusive design approach, artificial intelligence technologies can create solutions that enhance accessibility for people with disabilities by conceiving solutions that meet their needs. This should take place from the beginning of the design process. The process of designing should be co-designed with disabled people, where they are part of the design team. People with a range of disabilities should be included in this group. Using Artificial Intelligence technology, they are able to acquire enhanced autonomy rather they are at home watching pictures with subtitles or at work studying a usable document. This makes the world more employable and together..

Being connected to others and communicating:

· The use of artificial intelligence profoundly impacts the lives of humans with disabilities.

· With text summarization, a person with mental damage can fluently understand society all over him.

· The simple text behind what originally appears to be the tricky message is actually straightforward.

· Seeing AI, the technology given by Microsoft is an example of such a platform, that provides information about the world around visibly weak people.

· This is done by studying messages, expounding on how the person looks, and identifying faces and feelings.

· being one more device that translates visual information instantly into speech for blind or visually impaired people.

· A device can read aloud text from a book, newspaper, smartphone screen, or any other printed or digital interface. It can also recognize faces, identify products, colors, and other visual details.

CONCLUSION:-
